The October Newsletter 2017
National Convention in Centerville, Utah
Our October Newsletter 2017 begins with a review of the National Convention put on by the Centerville Chapter. It was begun with taking a tour around the building, viewing the decorations and memorabilia. A fantastic meal was then served, in proportions almost too large to completely consume. After dinner the Nationally acclaimed singing group “Fire On the Mountain” performed for us.
The rest of the convention was filled with treks, entertainment, business meetings, dinners, and a talk by Glen Rawson.
Our dinner meeting in September was graced by a presentation on the Mountain Meadow Massacre. Dawn Humphries and her husband Buck were our presenters.
The rest of the newsletter contains the calendar for the rest of the year, a continuation of the History of LaVerkin, and a special guess who section, with pictures of some of our members when they were in high school.
